Loved this game ! Took me something like 80 minutes to do both endings (sacrificed both eyes and some hearts, I think that was the easiest way) It was really fun and challenging to play ! Cute graphics and good gameplay !

That's odd! I just tested it with exactly 20 hearts and that worked. There are exactly 19 heart containers at the end so 20 hearts should be more than enough... I apologize for the inconvenience
Im not good at playing video games in general and it took me a while. However, I absolutely loved the game and considering I hardly play games, ill be playing this game more often since i love it! Goodjob Fullmontis!!!!!!!
This was awesome. I spent about an hour to get the good ending, and then another 2 hours to get no damage + all hearts. Really challenging but never got frustrating. Great game!

For anyone that downloaded the game and can't play it in Firefox for some reason, you can create a local server on your machine to play, or run it through a program like Brackets that will do it for you. I had to use the latter method, but it works like a charm now.

this game was really cool. i like how your second play through makes you see the game entirely differently as you now have to save hearts by sacrificing foots and eyes it made for fun experience good job.
also how come the girls broken legs get healed? i know one for gameplay reasons but did she gain some otherworldly power (increased health and broken leg regeneration) from the pact?
I like how songs in the game sound more or less like some songs I know, K-pital - Bine (a Romanian song), the main theme of Incantessimo (an Italian telenovela), the music of Optimistic Nihilism by Kurzgesagt, and a Romanian song that I don't like.
How can I play the downloaded game, in case I go offline? The index.html file I found in the game folder only creates a loading screen that doesn't go away.
The download is the source for the jam version and is outdated. It doesn't work because of a security option in the browser that doesn't allow access to local files. You can still play the game offline if you leave the page open or if you use the itch.io app. Hope that helps
Super enjoyable. Platformer was simple but well thought out and designed. I played for the story and because I refused to leave without a happy ending.
This is an exceptional platformer. I am very pleased with this. You did an excellent job. I think my favourite parts were spotting the hidden hearts, and eventually reaching the good ending.
I think that addition of a good ending is what kept me playing. The enticement of seeing a happy ending for the story. And it payed off. Thank you. I think I needed that.
Good End get! I loved this, reminded me a lot of classic edgy freeware games like Seven Minutes or Don't Look Back. The changes in the updated version were super-smart and well-done too. Thanks for telling this story and then expanding it!
It took me 3 times. Last time I survived by a single life. Thank goodness for the red pips on the bottom near the meter. I would hate to lose by a single heart again.

I got stuck at the second screen after you either scrifice vision or two hearts. I thought it was very interesting that you sacrifice a heart at each checkpoint.
Here is a gif on how to do this jump. It's probably the hardest jump in the game to do without damage, but I think it's not a big deal if you hit the plant.
the heart mechanic creates unique risk/reward situations in order to progress (if I risk going for that heart now, I'll be able to make more mistakes later) and is a clever way of making the good ending require skill. love the atmosphere, all around great game.
